My name is Valeska and I am half German-half Spanish. Since I was very young I have lived in different countries and moved as much as 14 times. I feel fortunate having been able to explore the world and meet many different people. I have been living in Barcelona since 1998 and have worked for several hotel chains and DMCs.
By traveling frequently to Scandinavia for work since 2007, I have created a solid network of contacts. I am passionate about Tourism and the MICE industry and since I started working I have always aimed at developing a carreer within the world of corporate events. My current mission is building bridges between our Spanish partners and the Scandinavian event organizers while attracting corporate groups.

WHAT IS MAX TOURISM?
MAX Tourism is a Sales Representation Company based in Barcelona, that promotes touristic companies from Spain exclusively in the Scandinavian MICE market (corporate events) since 2015. We serve Spanish businesses looking to attract corporate groups from the Nordics, including Destination Management Companies (DMCs), 4‑ and 5‑star hotels, event venues, and convention bureau/destinations. With over 15 years of experience working with the Scandinavian market, we possess in-depth knowledge of their tastes and preferences. Our mission is to create strong links between your company in Spain and key industry figures in Scandinavia.

MAXmorning Storytime
In 2023, we began organizing promotional events in Scandinavia centred around storytelling and sustainability, showcasing our Spanish partners to Nordic event planners. Later that year, our event evolved into a roadshow spanning 2 cities, featuring a seated breakfast and workshop. This format allowed our partners to present their products through engaging stories rather than a conventional, and often dull, PowerPoint presentation. We believe this approach makes the experience enjoyable for everyone.

We work with a leading DMC that has 10 local offices in Spain, as well as various 4‑ and 5‑star hotels offering exceptional meeting facilities and unique selling points. Throughout the year, we continuously seek out distinctive hotels and collaborate with several Spanish convention bureaux, that intent on attracting corporate business from Scandinavia. Our focus is on businesses and professionals who appreciate the expertise that MAX Tourism brings by complementing their sales team.

We do work with 1 outstanding DMC called maximice events group with 10 local offices in Spain and different 4* and 5* Hotels with meeting facilities and unique selling points. Throughout the year, we are always on the hunt for special hotels and do collaborate with several Spanish Convention Bureaux, that want to attract corporate business from Scandinavia. We focus on companies and professionals, that understand the value of having an expert like MAX Tourism, that knows exactly what Scandinavians are looking for when travelling with corporate groups.
